Micronesia on ABC World News Report

Congratulations to OIP Advisory Board member and FSM’s Ambassador to the United Nations Masao Nakayama who was recently interviewed on the ABC World News Report discussing the plight of Micronesia and other low lying islands with regards to the very real danger of global warming. Hopefully, the report will make a difference with the wealthy countries that are participating in the Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen. Do they really care about those of us who are experiencing the very real danger of the climate change? It is very true that the people in the outer islands of Micronesia (most of which are no more than 2 feet above sea level) are losing taro patches, our stable diet, to the ocean.
