Ran allim & Welcome
Thank
you for visiting the Micronesia Dental Support Project. This is
a small operation of volunteers dedicated to supporting the work
of dentists in the developing Pacific island nation of Micronesia.
We do so by bringing teams of volunteer dental professionals and
health educators to Micronesia's outer islands to provide free dental
services, resources, and training for the people.
Micronesia is truly one of the most
beautiful and unique places on our planet earth. It also has some
of the most isolated people in the world who live in what are known
in Micronesia as the "outer islands."
These outer islands are usually
no more than a strip of land with coconuts and breadfruit trees
growing abundantly. They often are the forgotten people who need
all types of services the most.
I especially invite adventurous dentists
to join the team or anyone of goodwill to support our effort with
dental supplies, funds, or time.
Thank you,

Barry Staley, DDS,
Executive Director
