The Outer Islanders Scholarship Fund will provide funding for academically qualified and financially needy students from the outer islands of Chuuk to attend high school on the main island.

For $1,200 you can pay for an entire year's worth of tuition, room & board, books, and transportation for a student.

project: READ UP!

R.E.A.D U.P! stands for Reading Expands And Develops Unexplored Potentials. This project focuses on providing books for the needy schools in Micronesia. Having witnessed the lack of reading materials in the outer islands and schools in Micronesia, the Project works to provide age-appropriate books and other reading materials to schools and libraries in the outer islands and Micronesia.

We are accepting children's books and donations to defray the cost of shipping books to schools in the island.

TeachFSM brings in experts in the field to improve the educational output in FSM. It also utilizes the expertise of the husband and wife team of Vidalino & Desha Staley-Raatior who have extensive experiences in both higher education and secondary education. They can offer services including the following to help the young people in the FSM.

• administrative leadership programs
