Scholarships
Based on the belief that having access to a good education is the key to successfully break the cycle of poverty, the Outer Islands Partnership, Inc. provides scholarship funding aimed at giving the children in the remote outer islands of Micronesia a chance in good schools.
Books
The outer islands have little to no books for the school children to read. The great distance from the main center prevents students from accessing reading materials in libraries. Our goal is to send age-appropriate books to the schools in the outer islands.
Teacher Training
Having the experience in leadership and educational development, we aspire to conduct professional development training for the youth and teachers in the outer islands and others in the developing island nation of Micronesia.
Cultural Exchanges
We help build partnership and connections between schools in the developed countries such as the United States to support the needs of school children in the outer islands of Micronesia.
